What sets the Automower® 430X NERA apart
Object detection and avoidance
Radar sensors on the mower detect objects and help it avoid them. Husqvarna says this gives precise mowing with less risk of impact and fewer unplanned stops, which matters on lawns with furniture, toys or garden features that move around.
Wire free option with virtual boundaries
Add the EPOS Plug-in and the mower can work with virtual boundaries instead of a buried or pegged wire. Combined with Automower® Zone Control, you can create multiple work areas with different settings and set temporary stay-out zones from the app.
Connected through cellular, not just Wi-Fi
Connectivity includes cellular as well as Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi. Through the Automower® Connect app you can send commands, adjust the installation and zones, change settings and receive notifications from anywhere.
Theft protection
GPS theft tracking shows where the mower is, and GeoFence sends a notification in the app if it is moved outside its area. A PIN code and alarm add another layer of protection.
Lawn quality features
Electric height adjustment (patented) sets the cut from 20 to 60 mm in the app. TargetHeight lowers the grass gradually over 10 days, spiral cutting evens out longer patches, and the weather timer matches mowing time to growth. Rewilding Mode can leave 10% of the lawn unmown for biodiversity.
Is it right for your lawn?
At 3 200 m² of capacity, the Automower® 430X NERA suits lawns that are comfortably below that size. If your lawn is close to the limit, or you expect to extend it, the Husqvarna Automower® 450X NERA has the same body and cutting system with a bigger battery and 5 000 m² of capacity.
On slopes, it manages 50% inside the lawn and 25% at the boundary. It finds narrow passages on its own, and inside them Systematic Passage Mowing cuts down on turning, so you get fewer wheel tracks.
